Thank You @townofajax for awarding OPEN. with the 2024 Arts & Culture Award. This feels GOOD !

We want everyone to understand, we came in this BELIEVING we can create change for the creative community in the EAST END (Durham Region). In 2019, we sat at a table and brainstormed ideas and OPEN. Innovate Creative Arts Incubator of Durham Region was born.

We have hosted numerous events, workshops, and programming for our community with the goal to one day have our own space. A safe space to house music, film, photography and community entrepreneurship. We have a lot more work to do - None of this would be possible without the support of our local community.

SALUTE to everyone in our network that believed in us and our vision. Our Board of Directors, our family for allowing us to push this vision into reality, and our community members that came from all corners to help us behind the scenes (locations, prep, editing, lighting, sound, etc).
